5th Grade Trip to Huntsville

In Huntsville I learned that air is a force and how to make a rocket. He showed us the different kinds of fuels. There is liquid, solid, chemical reaction. That metal there is some kind of metal that does not burn unless over 30,000 degrees and keeps the inside room temperature. I also learned that moon rock costs over $100.000 more than a diamond and the moon rock could be really small. The Apollo 13 never got to the moon because an oxygen tank blew up. The landings of the pods were always landed in water. The Mercury project was the first project up to the moon. I thought it was the Gemini project but that was the second. The Mercury project took one person to space. The Gemini took two people to space. The Apollo was the third and it took three people to space. I didn't know that the Russians were the first into space but we were the first on the moon. Dave Scott was the driver of the plane that Neil Armstrong was on. He was the one that had to stay in the ship.

Getting our Pumpkins

Today we we went to the pumpkin patch and we played. We got on this truck and we went to the pumpkin patch and our whole family picked out little small pumpkins not even 6 inches tall. We picked it out and we were riding on the truck we saw Christmas trees growing. Next, we picked out our big pumpkins and they were tremendous. I carried it all the way back to the car which was very far. We left and now we are drawing faces on our little pumpkins.
